1. What Local Lead X Does

Local Lead X helps users request local business lead data, enrich that data, and export results. The service may use Apify or other third-party data providers, scraping actors, enrichment actors, APIs, processors, hosting providers, analytics tools, payment processors, email providers, and infrastructure services to operate the platform.

When a user runs a search, Local Lead X may collect and store the business lead data returned from that search in our own internal database. This allows us to improve the platform, deduplicate records, maintain data quality, support compliance, analyze market coverage, and build our own internal business lead database.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

We may collect your name, email address, password hash, account role, account status, credit balance, billing information, support messages, preferences, and authentication/session information.

Search, Run, and Usage Information

We may collect information about searches and jobs you run, including business category, location, requested lead count, enrichment options, credit usage, run status, export status, timestamps, API usage, logs, device/browser information, IP address, and security events.

Your personal account history is used for your account, billing, support, abuse prevention, compliance, and administration. We do not make one customer’s personal account history publicly available to other customers.

Collected Business Lead Data

We may collect, store, enrich, normalize, deduplicate, and retain business lead data generated through the platform, including business name, category, phone number, website, domain, physical address, city, state, postal code, country, Google Maps or source URL, ratings, review counts, place identifiers, emails, social media profile URLs, advertising/tag signals, and similar publicly available or commercially available business information.

Payment Information

If we offer paid plans or credit purchases, payment information may be processed by a third-party payment processor. We generally do not store full payment card numbers on our own servers.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies, local storage, session storage, pixels, log files, and similar technologies to keep users logged in, secure the service, remember preferences, measure performance, analyze traffic, and improve the product.

3. How We Use Information

We may use information to provide, operate, secure, maintain, improve, and market Local Lead X; process account registration and login; manage credits and subscriptions; run scraping and enrichment jobs; generate downloads; provide API access; prevent fraud, spam, scraping abuse, credential misuse, or security incidents; troubleshoot issues; communicate with users; comply with legal obligations; enforce our Terms; and build, maintain, improve, license, or commercialize our internal business lead database.

4. Internal Lead Database

Business lead data collected through Local Lead X may be retained by us as part of our internal database, even when the search was requested by a user. This internal database may combine results across multiple runs, users, sources, providers, and enrichment methods. We may use this database for deduplication, quality scoring, future product features, analytics, commercial offerings, resale, licensing, or other lawful business purposes.

We do not treat publicly available business lead information as a user’s confidential property unless we have signed a separate written agreement that says otherwise. However, we do treat user account credentials, private billing information, and non-public account data as private account information.

5. Sharing and Disclosure

We may share information with vendors and processors that help us operate the service, including hosting providers, database providers, Apify or other actor/API providers, email providers, analytics providers, support tools, security tools, and payment processors.

We may also disclose information when required by law, subpoena, court order, government request, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, property, users, the public, or the security and integrity of the service.

If Local Lead X is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, asset sale, reorganization, bankruptcy, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

6. Third-Party Services and Sources

Local Lead X may integrate with third-party services, including Apify actors and APIs. Those third parties may process data according to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party websites, APIs, data sources, enrichment providers, or external services that we do not control.

7. Legal Bases and Compliance

Where applicable, we process personal information based on one or more legal bases, including performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent, compliance with legal obligations, fraud prevention, security, and business operations. Users are responsible for ensuring their use of exported lead data complies with all applicable laws, including privacy, marketing, email, telemarketing, anti-spam, consumer protection, and data broker laws.

8. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of certain personal information. You may also have the right to opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or marketing communications.

Business lead data may be retained indefinitely as part of our internal database unless deletion is required by law or we decide to remove it.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No system is perfectly secure. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials, API keys, and account access secure.

11. Children

Local Lead X is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. International Use

Local Lead X may be operated from the United States and may process information in the United States or other countries. By using the service, you understand that information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions that may have different data protection laws than your location.
